QC Sporthorses is based in Cumbria almost on the Scottish border, 2 or 3 minutes from the M6 motorway junction 44 and the same distance from the A74 (click here for a map). We have excellent trial facilities, a large floodlit school with jumps and a full cross country course. All of our Sporthorses for sale are open to vetting and, if necessary, inspection by your advisors. We may be beaten on price, but our sporthorses for sale will certainly not be beaten on quality or true value for money.

Ours is a family-run business – established for over 40 years. We are big enough to offer an extensive range of top quality sports horses but small enough to care and give our customers the individual, undivided attention that has made us successful. Only by doing this can we at QC Sporthorses achieve our goal of matching horses to riders effectively. Our aim is to supply sports horses of a quality that will not be beaten.

We offer a range of equine services in Cumbria from buying and selling of top quality sporthorses, a farriery service by fully qualified DWCF farrier – instruction from a fully-qualified instructor who competed for Great Britain in the under eighteen British Eventing Team, and a top dressage rider. We also offer instruction from a top show-jumping competitor. Horses are taken to be broken or schooled at extremely competitive rates. Our broad range of horses and ponies includes riding horses, hunting horses, show horses, dressage horses, eventing horses and carriage driving horses, but we mainly specialise in show jumping horses. The selection of jumping horses available usually ranges from youngsters just starting to jump at home, through to Grade–A horses. We also sell harnesses, vehicles and horse boxes.
